How to use the word “beato” in Italian

The word ‘Beato‘ is an adjective indicating a person who feels very happy about themselves or the good fortune of someone else. It can be translated into English as ‘lucky’ or, even more accurately, ‘very lucky’.

  • Beato lui che va ogni mese in vacanza! – Lucky him, who goes on vacation every month!
